Retired from Cargill Inc. where he spent his entire 38yr career. He managed various businesses domestically and in Europe and in his last eleven years, served as Corporate Vice President of Strategy and Business Development. Since retiring, he has focused on philanthropy, pro bono consulting and angel investing.
Jim graduated from Kansas State University in Economics and French and earned an M.B.A. in Finance and International Business from the University of Chicago. He also studied at the Sorbonne, University of Paris and has an advanced degree in Applied Economics from the University of Louvain, Belgium.
