Carolyn Odom

Head of Global Clinical Operations

Carolyn brings over 20 years of clinical research experience to Luminary, including a decade in cell and gene therapy. She previously worked at ProSciento, Abeona Therapeutics, and Forge Biologics where she led programs from pre-IND submission and first-in-human trial launch through BLA preparations.

Outside of Luminary, Carolyn has served as a volunteer puppy raiser for Canine Companions for over a decade, training future service dogs to support people with disabilities. The discipline, patience, and long-term commitment required to raise an assistance dog mirror the same qualities she brings to clinical trial execution: a steady focus on the end goal, meticulous daily attention, and the understanding that small, consistent efforts compound into life-changing outcomes for the people who need them most.
